Help Stop Premature Ejaculation
Treatments with Hypnotherapy and NLP
Premature ejaculation, or PE, is best defined as ejaculation that occurs before both partners wish. Most men experience PE occasionally, and it has been estimated that between 30% and 70% do so regularly, making it the most frequently encountered male sexual predicament.
However, if PE is a regular experience for you then the good news is that we can help you to learn how to make it a thing of the past. Above and beyond all, you can make far-reaching improvements to your ejaculation control by learning how to change the way you think. You can make rapid, significant changes that will enable you to experience a more emotionally and physically fulfilling sex for you and your partner.
First: the causes
There are many schools of thought on this. Some of the likely causes are related to early sexual experiences, others relate to later events:
- Anxiety
- Performance anxiety
- Learned behaviour
- Guilt leading to rushing
Expectation
But whatever the original cause, the problem is occurring now. And the solution has to deal with what is happening now. Anyone who is experiencing premature ejaculation regularly will be expecting the problem to occur next time. This is logical: if it has occurred before then it is reasonable to assume it will happen again. So if you suffer from PE then every time you think about having sex you think about it.
Worrying about PE happening next time involves imagining what will happen: and the more you imagine it happening the more you tell yourself it will happen again; and the more you feel sure it will happen again; and the more you worry. And so the PE does occur again, and the cycle of ‘Worry; PE … Worry; PE …’ completes another loop. For most people with these problems, this thinking loop is what causes them.
Breaking the loop
Premature ejaculation is an example of ‘the vicious cycle’. And you can turn a vicious cycle on its head if you replace ‘worry’ with ‘beautiful thoughts’ or ‘noticing what is actually happening now’. And you now have a virtuous cycle, thinking about what you want and so getting what you want. For once the worry is gone, your imagination is freed up. You might even find yourself imagining, automatically, every time you think about sex, how good it feels to last easily until the moment both you and your partner are ready for you to come.
The tools for the job
Hypnotherapy and NLP have procedures developed specifically for training your imagination, enabling you to direct it and so guide your future behaviours. You can learn how to use NLP in a highly conscious way, and hypnotherapy is used to communicate with your unconscious. The two techniques together form a powerful partnership, and most people learn quickly and easily.
How long will it take to treat my PE?
Although this can vary with different people, we would expect to see you for two or three one-hour sessions.
